Hello!

Thanks for stopping by my corner of the internet! I’m Siarra Childress, a freelance marketing consultant, instructional designer, and creative strategist who transforms complex ideas into accessible, engaging experiences.

That said, you could also call me an event coordinator, historical educator, mentor, curator, community organizer, project manager, graphic designer, and contemporary artist.

Wearing this many hats has allowed me to bridge creativity with decision-making, modernizing educational and recreational programming while reshaping marketing strategy at the International Museum of Surgical Science in Chicago, IL. My time researching the unspoken global history of scientific progress taught me the importance of moving forward with cultural awareness and an informed code of ethics. Today, I help clients navigate ever-shifting markets and classrooms with nuance, empathy, and purpose in pursuit of a more tolerant future.

Beyond consulting, I’m endlessly curious and take every opportunity to build on my interdisciplinary practice. Currently I’m completing certifications in Google E-Commerce/Digital Marketing, Data Analytics, and Project Management to expand upon my working knowledge for even more impactful outcomes. Outside of work, my fascination with biology and medicine has taken me from studying scientific visualization at the University of Illinois Chicago to self-guided explorations in herbalism and pharmacognosy — particularly the practical and spiritual use of medicinal and neuroactive herbs in Indigenous traditions. I also craft my own skincare and a very fragrant pot of tea.
